Learning Pathways offers signed-in users the ability to choose how the website opens external links.
Sign in:
If you are not already signed in, begin by signing into your Learning Pathways account. If you're unsure how to sign in, refer to our guide on how to sign in to Learning Pathways for step-by-step instructions.
Navigate to Your Account Details Page:
After signing in, locate your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen & select ‘Account Details’.
Access Link Preferences:
Within your Account Details, scroll down to find the "Link Preferences" section.
Choose Your External Link Preference:
In the Link Preferences section, you will see three options:
- Open in New Tab: External links will open in a new browser tab, without navigating away from the current page.
- Open in Same Tab: External links will open in the current browser tab, replacing the current content.
- Ask Each Time: A pop-up will prompt you to choose where to open external links each time.
Select your preferred option from the choices provided.
Save Changes:
After selecting your preference, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the 'Save Changes' button.
You have now successfully updated your link preferences. You can revisit these settings at any time and make adjustments based on your preferences.
